Attendance Policies
Consistent attendance is of the utmost importance for students of Georgia Academy of Massage, as our courses cover a lot of information in a short period of time, and so much of the learning is hands on. Attendance is based on “clock hours” which are 50 minutes. A student can miss no more than 10% of any course and it is his/her responsibility
to arrange for any make up time and work. Any missed tests or quizzes must be made up during office hours within 7 days of the absence. Any missed hours may be made up with private classes offered at $25/hour. If a student is absent 4 days without notifying the school, he/she is considered withdrawn on the fourth day. If a student wants to re-enroll, they must have withdrawn in good academic and financial standing and must interview with the director. Credits are only transferable one time.
Schedule of Fees
In
addition to a non-refundable $50 application
fee, students of Georgia Academy of Massage must
be prepared to invest in their massage
education. While we do not offer any
grants or scholarships we do work closely with
SLM Financial a Sallie Mae company and we offer
in-house financing.
